In 2017, I was 18 years old and was feeling the pressure to figure out what I wanted to do in life. I was taking out payday loans to pay my rent, and worked what seemed like every type of job that was available to me, from fast food to hotel concierge. Eventually, I landed a receptionist job at a fast-paced, busy brow bar in a mall. Being around estheticians who loved what they did sparked my own desire to become an esthetician.

By 2019, I was managing the salon and decided it was finally time to take the leap into becoming a service provider. I didn’t know what lash extensions were until I was already in school, and took my first classic lash course through their program. I graduated esthetics school at 20 years old in May 2019, knowing that I was going to make lashes my thing.

With my small starter kit from school, I began lashing out of my sister’s apartment living room, where she had noisy neighbors, a roommate, and a lot of cats. As I started showcasing my work, interest grew and I quickly decided to move into my own suite.

By the end of 2019, I flew to Canada to take my first (life-changing) handmade volume & strip-lash look lash course. Strip-lash looks & wispy sets were still new these days, and I was excited to be the one to bring something different to my local lash scene.

In 2020, I had interest from others in learning my techniques, so I developed a training course. As my business and trainings grew, I began creating my own line of lash products.

By mid 2020, My lash roomie & I were so booked & busy that we knew we needed to hire someone. We ended up securing a larger location, and training & hiring our first three employees to work alongside us. Before we knew it, we had grown to having over 16 employees and two thriving locations. While we loved it and learned so much, we both took a step back from lashing and sold our two salons in November 2023.

It didn’t take long before I began to miss lashing, (enter Angel Lash) 🥂

All of this lead me to where I am today. My heart lies in creating beautiful customized lash sets and training others to do the same. I’m here to show you that passion, hard work, and consistency always pays off in the end.
